Hi Mirike
Hi, we are from Bryanston, Sandton and have been in Toronto for 6 weeks now. We had ravelled around Canada a few times before deciding on Toronto, so e fairly knowledgeable about the country - but being a visitor and an immigrant is obviously very different...
We chose Toronto due to the nature of our work - Financial services and health communications. other parts of Canada - Calgary specifically, are doing really well as well and are worth checking out depending on your type of work and the lifestyle you enjoy.
The proces was tedious, long, tiring and the waiting was frustrating, but the outcome, as with so many worthwhile things - has been worth the wait and we personally genuinely recommended it.
If you have specific questions, maybe you have a personal email I can mail you on, I really dont mind chatting with you - as this process is fresh in our minds and I dont mind telling you (the little) I know and have found out since our arrival in Toronto.
