Posted by Umah on 4/29/2007, 10:44:58 Yeah I am here finally. IT's almost 3 months since we landed here. Got my children to school within a week and they adjusted very well. Aged 8 and 5+ . We are renting an apartment for 1300 can dollar and yeah it's costly but for the children's sake, they need a decent place to live. I got my sofa, dinning table and other little things from people here who wants to give away for free as they are upgrading theirs. Thats wonderfull right? Now I have a complete apartment. The first thing I invested was matteress and computer set to apply for a job. My husband managed to find a job although it's not his profession. But looking bright cos' there r many interviews coming up. This is my side of stroies. I am happy for the children but deep down I miss my family back home. I come from a close family background. So I call them almost every other day as some calls are free if you call from computer. my husband's niece bought us a Web cam and now I can see my family back home, that help me lot. Keep going and I am sure I will success in life. Anyone need help just let me know cos' It's my turn now to help the new comers. Any way I am Malaysian.
