Visa App, without legal Rep??

Yet another UK citizen hoping to emigrate to Canada! Any response to the below is much appreciated.
• I am planning to submit my app. for skilled worked status.
• If I pay the fees to the Canadian Embassy but my app has mistakes, will I have a chance to resubmit? Alternatively, will I be charged fees and have no opp. to resubmit?
