Hi there everyone
I got a really interesting phone call yesterday from a lovely lady in SA asking for help to bring over a South African artist - Pieter Smith - to Canada. Have any of you heard of him? Apparantly he has performed at the Kanasie Festival before and he is really good. I have never heard of him before but then again there are lots of talented artists out there that I don't know. What this lady is wanting is for me to help them try and sell tickets to his show and to organise a venue for him. They take care of the rest. This is going to be in Ontario. Does anyone have any info to share with me about how to go about helping these people - I think that we should encourage SA artists to come over and I would like to assist in any way I can as they are very talented. Please let me know if you'd like to help out in any way or have any suggestions that may help me. Thanks
