Hey Skip,
Sorry for the delay in response to your letter. Great hearing from you, my friend. I remember that discussion...I think it may have been by the merch table at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival back in 1998 (if memory serves me correctly). I remember that senario as I had suggested to Crosby that we bring our new CPR T-shirts to the festival to help promote the new band. When he mentioned the time, expense and hassle it would bring, I offered to take care of the time/ expense of arranging it myself to help spread the news of the new band we were in together. Besides offering it at the merch table, I gave away dozens of free T-shirts to all the performers (probably all my profits) but I was so proud of the new venture that I wanted to "share the love", as they say. (I hope you still have yours, Skip.)
I have a funny story in regards to giving away CPR shirts to friends.
I gave a dear friend of mine an extra large CPR T-shirt for him but I only had one left so I said this is for you and/or for your wife...Meaning, if you don't want to wear it, you could always give it to your wife as a nighty or something.
He replied, "Jeff..... the LAST thing I want to see between my wifes breasts when I get into bed with her at night, is YOUR name!"
Reasonable....
i hope all is well with you my friend!
All the best to you and yours in the new year!
Jeff P
