So Valerie (my wife) and I notice that you very seldom come to the New York area (when you aren't playing a rare Camp Creek event) and then... low and behold, you blow us away with an appearance at the Waldorf Astoria at the end of this month so we thought, "Why not ask Jeff to put us up at the Waldorf... HOO-HAHH! I mean , why not? We deserve a break away from the our 6 and 9 year old angels and where is Jeff going to find any true fans amongst a bunch of NASCAR grease monkeys or corporate sponsers anyway?"
We graciously accept your invitation Jeff and we'll bring the leftover turkey from Thanksgiving if you need a good home-cooked meal. Let us know when you want to meet at the bar for an early discussion of the show's line-up. I'm thinking a rip on Crosby's "Drive my Car" is an appropriate kick-off for a NASCAR event, but you're the boss... far be it from us to tell you what to play when you are covering our Suite at the Waldorf.
