Just want to jump in here to say thanks again to Jeff for all the beautiful work on this CD. While it is newly released to the public, it was recorded some time back and it feels so nice to at last be sharing it with the world! It was an honor and a special treat for me to be able to work with one of my earliest heroes, someone that I have come to consider to be one of truly great guitar artists of our time. I first met Jeff back in the 1970s (!) when he was playing with John Coster's Medicine Band. From that time until now, it has always been a tremendous pleasure to hear him play. Sometimes when I hear him play I just sit there with a silly grin on my face completely turned on to the inexplicable genius of the music that flows from him. He has always followed his muse and his unique gifts with the enthusiasm and fearless sincerity of one who was born for greatness. In my visits with him over the years I would also have to report that he is a damn fine human being. His natural intuitiveness, solid musical instincts and creative brilliance put the experience of recording with him among my most satisfying and memorable musical adventures.
