This piece of video is one of those shining moments in my life that I am so thankful to the big force that it was captured for eternity. That being said, I am honored that it brings othes, like you, such joy. I will never forget the day I received the first Ray Charles record that I played on. I felt such a warm feeling of affirmation that has brought about a welcome sense of accomplishment and peace into my being. Receiving acknowledgement by such a musical spokesperson, as well as realiziing that these documents will outlive me, is an immense blessing. This video which was filmed around 1986 in London catures the magical interplay that exsisted between us. I found out early on that he was very reactive to blues guitar playing. His reactions to the music overall in this video is infectious, but also certain guitar lines that brought about outbursts of joy from him...wow....I am humbled to have this amazing opportunity and I am in so much gratitude that this opportunity happened and that this piece of documentary is around for all to enjoy.
