Hey Jeff,
Any updates on your Summer tour schedule? If you'll recall, my wife Valerie and I were on the fence over last year's Camp Creek because you weren't on the venue and here we are again trying to find a worthwhile festival or tour date to venture out on this Summer (without the kids... thank the Lord for good close friends and parents!), and once again, we turn to you... don't you feel honored??? We are in Western New York and are willing to travel, but are weighing all our options. It seems that CPR and all associated factions have their own thing going on this Summer (like having a life outside the road... how DARE they!) and that's cool... we've scoured the jam-band scene and several more "local" folk/zydeco/acoustic venues, but nothing is jumping out (or thoroughly planned yet). We'd love a venue that we could camp at AND take the kids (8 and 6 years old), but it's tough to face explaing some of the extracurricular activities that permeate the scene, as well as keeping them safe and rested while still being able to enjoy the music that plays beyond their bedtime. Ahhhh...the blissful nag of of a path we chose (and don't regret!), but still long to meander off of every now and then.
