Besides an opportuity to see what this unique combination of talents would do together, it was hugely Crosby putting a band together to celebrate the meeting and reuniting with his son James. I was honored to be included in it for what I brought to the table, and the fact that it happened at all is a huge gift to all of us who were a part of it, and the fact that it was appreciated by many is icing on the cake. It was a great experience we are all proud of. Whether it happens again remains to be seen. To me, once a project has recorded and leaves music behind for the world to appreciate, it is never "dead". So that choice of words isn't even an option to my way of thinking. It will always live through the recordings,videos and memories. We also see many groups who once played music together, many years later sometimes reforming for a reunion tour or just to get together to enjoy each others music and talents. I am at a good place with all of this, as I know we had a great run, if it never happens again....and if it does, it'll be lovely! Meanwhile there is much other work for me to do.
