It being light and easy to cart around is never a bad thing, and admittedly, I love using different amps, as I have a bunch of em... They all seem to bring out a different side of musical character, as I have found that when the guitar tone is different it influences my approach to the music. It's like playing a certain sound..... Lately because of the portability factor and just that it's been working for me, I have been using this lil' Marshall for the local OR gigs... The amp is a Marshall Mosfet 100. Go figure.... Thanks for askin and I hope you are all well.
You are correct, Steve (Tool).... I have a little Marshall that I have been using for the local gigs that I bought from my friend John Mooy a number of years ago when he had his own little music store near Santa Barbara and he was going out of biz. I came to store to help him liquidate some of his wares and I thought, "How bad can this be, it's a Marshall?!".....so I bought it, not knowing how much I would enjoy it.... Besides that it sounds really good, it's surprisingly light as it's a non tube combo with a ten inch speaker in it..... but it really honks!
Best regards
