Admittedly I am not that tuned to the difference between the sound of particular brands of woods. I would think every piece of wood sounds unique, even in regards to the same brand of woods.
If you have 5 models of the same guitar next to each other, each guitar will sound different....each piece of wood has it's own reasonant frequency, as each are from a different tree, as well as the way the other pieces of wood react in the same instrument. Again, I am no expert here...I just know what sounds good to my ears and how every guitar sounds unique.
Most of my guitar necks are rosewood, but that preference is moreso related to the feel of the neck as opposed to any sonic preference.
I would assume Godin makes all different styles of guitars and woods.
