Snuffy and I had the opportunity to perform together a couple times with an extremely talented artist friend of mine named Michael Ruff....who I actually met back in Manchster, CT when we were both in our early teens...Michael although years younge than I, was incredibly talented for his years (still is) and was quite an inspiration and mentor. Michael moved to Woodstock, NY and then LA shortly thereafter and became Rickie Lee Jones's bandleader and got me an audition with her that led me to my first major touring. When Michael played in LA doing his own gigs, Snuffy Walden played guitar in his band along with an awesome line up of other steller musicians. Whenever I came out to LA to visit, I would sit in w/ Michael and share the stage with Snuffy...it was a great time....I believe it was right around that time when Snuffy hooked up with the opportunities that has lead him to his sucesses in the music scoring field...he's a very talented and passionate artist, musician and person...both of them,. in fact...
