We return back to action tomorrow night with a top of the table clash at home to our old rivals, Kidlington. Kick off, 7.45PM. For any of you who have watched any of the clashes we have had with Kiddy over the last 2 seasons, will know what entertaining football is produced between 2 sides who are totally committed to playing football the right way (a few nice tackles go in every now and again too). Last season we completed the league double over Kidlington, yet they got their revenge by knocking us out of the cup. Kidlington are currently top with a 100% winning record, and we are sat in 2nd position, 2 points behind, also unbeaten this season. With former City players Darren McNamara & Paul Harwood & also former Aston Villa & Nottingham Forest midfielder, Gary Parker in the Kidlington ranks, it will prove to be our toughest challenge so far this season. To add spice to the affair, last seasons City vets Manager's player of the season, Stuart Clarke now plays for Kidlington, and City's Dave Southam will also want to do well for City, as he played for Kidlington vets last season.
Mark Smith (work) & Ronnie Williams (watching Arsenal) are unvailable. On the plus side, Jason Caffel & Liam Carroll return from injury.
Squad: Colin Fleet, Simon Pagano, Robert Tutton, Andy Marriott, Justin Lee, Liam Carroll, Mark Jennings, Chris Fontaine, Jason Caffel, Julian Dark, Paul Spittle, Mark Orlando, Julio Barresi, Phil Rodney, Dave Southam, Wayne Holden.
Thanks to Paul Creed & Paul Holden (Old man Holdy) for managing the side and getting a victory for me in the last game against Shrivenham, whilst I was on holiday playing with Mickey & Minnie Mouse.
Wayne Holden (Young Holdy)
