Sorry to be so 'vague' David, but there is no news to report. Part of the reason for putting any player on contract is so the club will not lose out if this player moves on, but no club has come in to sign Fisher so there is nothing to say as yet.
There is no conspiracy and no-one is trying to hide anything from you.
As has been said, you are perfectly welcome to discuss this matter, or any other, with anyone at the club.
