Was free to watch.
A good game which saw Middlesex score in less than a minute. Then Oxfordshire got a penalty and scored it about a minute later. Then a couple of minutes after that a deflected shot put Oxfordshire 2-1 up. So three goals in the first 5 minutes was quite good.
Half time Oxfordshire led 4-3.
Second half Middlesex saw more of the ball and was having a number of attempts on goal. They equalised and after more pressure took the lead, 5-4. Oxfordshire equalised with about 20 minutes to go and then in unfortunate circumstances Middlesex took the the lead. A powerful cross from the left came in and keeper came to attempt to cut out the cross as the forward came in. They collided and neither got a touch on the ball as defender came running in behind and the ball hit her and in to the goal. Really unlucky and could not have done anything to prevent it.
So 11 goals and a 6-5 win for Middlesex. Enjoyable game with some good football played by both sides.
