To any City fans making the trip up to Burton by train..there are two really good pubs within a two minute walk from the station. The Devonshire Arms - turn right..walk down the road for a minute or so..pub on right handside corner.Great for real ales..food..very friendly..and landlady will call taxis no probs to the ground (£4/5) Just down same side street is the back entrance to Coopers Tavern. Absolute gem of a pub. Ciders n ales - straight from the barrel..lager bit difficult to come by here!
Pirreli Stadium is over 30 min walk - so taxi from Devonshire a good bet! Beeches pub - 5 min walk past ground (it ain't a stadium!!
) from town centre is also friendly n ok.
Can't make it myself but all the very best to City and everyone who travels up there..will be following on the mobile!
