I too was impressed by Bury's two forwards, probably the best we've seen this season at CPF
However, over 90 minutes City probably just shaded it and deserved to go through. However, I would fully expect Bury to top the Midland division and visit again next season,
In the meantime Brighton at home in the first round would suit me !

: You might get more of an adrenaline rush in an
: extreme sport, but this was edge-of-the-seat
: stuff today--we were on an emotional
: rollercoaster until the relief of the final
: whistle. This is why we are fottball
: supporters, and for City fans, it probably
: doesn't get much better than this! But one
: has to feel a bit sorry for the loyal and
: numerous Town fans who created such an
: atmosphere at CPF today. To lose in the last
: minute of normal time is gutting. I said
: only a bit sorry, though, because theyhad
: their turn last year, and they've had a good
: run this year and beaten three teams from
: higher divisions. Now they can begin to
: catch up on the teams above them by winning
: some of their games in hand.
:
: Bury are a decent side who pass the ball
: around well and get bodies back behind it
: when they lose it. They work hard for each
: other and have two lively and competitive
: strikers who kept us on our toes. One could
: see why they had lost only once so far this
: season, and City could have been their
: fourth FA Cup victims. I admit I thought at
: one stage it was going to end in a draw
: (especially when Bairdy went off) and I
: wouldn't have fancied our chances in midweek
: in Suffolk.
:
: That said, Mike Ford was right in saying on
: the radio that we were the better side
: overall. We created more chances and could
: have won by more. But if Bairdy hadn't got
: back to block Reed's shot when Leabon had
: rounded Barisic, City would have been out of
: the cup now.
:
: If there's one player we would not have
: wanted to miss the next round through
: suspension, it must be Andy Baird. He has
: been enjoying a fine season and he was
: immense again today. But with a ref who was
: quick to pull out the yellows, and with one
: already against him needlessly, Andy's high
: challenge was at best rash and at worst
: idiotic. At the time, Michael Lyon was on
: the touchline waiting to come on and score
: the fairytale winning goal I had been
: praying for. All I can say is, thank God for
: Gunny!
