Having made the 45 min trip to alveston the boys looked up for a good game!
but after the pre match team talk and being warned about last weeks first half and not to make the same mistakes!
Oxford city found them selfs two goal down with 20 mins gone. having not settled at all on the ball and giving the ball back to the oppositionby half time whent in 3-0 down.
a few changes were made but only having two subs and a stand in keeper who i must say played really well[ Henry Bone ] it was always going to be a up hill task. second half saw Oxford come out battle fo every ball and made lots off chances from Davies,Harper ,cherry&Ploszynski but it was Peart who got one back for city with a great free kick on the edge off the box which the keeper could only parry into the open goal.
Oxford battled on and could have pulled the game back but didnt take there chances they had and the game finished 4-1. not to worry lads this league is a big step to make and you are starting to improve so welldone 100% effort from all of you
