Playing their first game of the season at Wantage (last years undefeated league winners)City came away with as very creditable draw.
City played down the slope in the first half and more than matched their opponents who played in a very robust manner at times. Despite falling a goal behind City stuck to their task and a cracking goal by Caffel after some superb football brought City the equaliser. Both sides continued to press for the winner but the final score remained Wantage 1 City 1.
Squad: Simon Pagano, Liam Carroll, Justin Lee, Stephen Tavinor, Andy Marriott, Jason Caffel, Chris Fonteine, Paul Spittle, Phil Lynch, Dave , Mark Orlando, Martin Smy,Wayne Holden, Rob Tutton.
