After 4 years at Oxford City i have decided to step down as manager due to a number of factors which made me feel i couldnt continue with the role. Increasing work commitments are a key factor allied to the fact i felt i wasnt getting the best from the players i therefore realised it was time to go.
I will remain involved with the club helping to drive the Oxford Football Partnership and assist in the development of young players through into the first team and beyond.
it has been a wonderful 4 years starting in the Spartan South Midlands league and onwards to the Southern Premier Division allied to the continued growth and development of the whole club.
i would like to thank the players, physios, coaching staff for the work on the pitch. The support of the commitee, John Shep, Brian and Colin has been unbelievable and everyone else at the club. All supporters have been tremendous throughout and i am very proud of what has been achieved to date.
I am in full support of Mike Ford as he takes the reigns and will give knowledge and commitment to the job. We forged a good partnership and i wish Mike and everyone else all the best in the continual development of Oxford City.
thanks again
Justin
