I don't think that there will be a surprise in the standard, deafness isn't really going to affect the way they play and if they're Olympic standard then this will be interesting.
Not sure if you remember Dave Galbraith who used to play for us (1987 this was...), he was deaf and would turn his hearing aid off so he couldn't hear Steve Morton bellowing at him from the dugout. I was sub a lot that season so was in the dugout and we knew he was doing it but found it funny each time as Morty would go mad about him not following instructions and get so frustrated. We'd just sit there giggling at Morty cursing!
