What a great finish to the season. The 1st team, both Veteran teams and the Ladies team having successful seasons.
I personally rate Justin Merritt to be one of the best manager OCFC have had for some considerable time. What an achievement in his first full season as a manager. Not only that but he as had to take critism from myself and other subscribers to this message board on occasions. Best of all he has been restrained in his reactions and answered us critics by proving us WRONG on most occasions!! Well done Justin and the best of luck next season.
Also well done to all the players (including ALL members of the 1st team squad)who on occasions lost their way a little, but delivered the GOODS when it was required. WELL DONE LADS.
I must also mention the Veterans, especially Creedy, who have entertain me all season with what can only be described as sublime passing football played in the spirit the game was meant to be played in. Well done to all the MATURE players.
Finally a special thank you to all the Committee, Tea Room ladies and the backroom people who have made this all possible. It is a shame that Claire has not yet mentioned that I bought an unsuccessful Golden Goal ticket at the last home game. Looking forward to next season!! Up the CITY!!!!!!!
