I had the same journey as you up from Reading. It took us nearly an hour and twenty minutes, just to have to turn straight back round again. Again, in Reading, it was dry by the time I got home. V frustrating for all who travelled yesterday. Fingers crossed for tonight, seeing as I'm already in Oxford, or if not, Saturday seems to make sense to me...

: think the congrestion problem is
: Fleet(should

: I hope we can get a message in time to
: prevent
: another wasted journey. I can't even find
: the Didcot phone number on their website. We
: travelled up from Reading yesterday, having
: tried to find out from websites and radio if
: it was still on, but found nothing until we
: got there. The forecast is bad again for
: tomorrow, but good for the weekend. Why not
: delay it until Saturday, when there will be
: a bigger crowd too (no Europeans on the
: box), and play the final a week later? After
: all, what difference will it make?

: Didcot officials have just confirmed pitch
: is
: currently ok. Refereee is on his way to
: match and it is anticipated will ratify that
: view - as long as the heavy rain does not
: return!
