Shame to see City had a little wobble yesterday-im sure they will bounce back. Thought I would share this true story, from the local Spanish press here in Tenerife, with you as it made me chuckle.
Nicholas Cage contacted Real Madrid in the week to say he wanted to see the Real v Roma champions league game. Real were happy to welcome the Hollywood star and rolled out the red carpet. They gave him a V.I.P guided tour of the ground, wined and dined him in the presidents lounge, gave him the best seat in the directors box, and after the game let him meet the players and pose for pics with them and club officials.
The next day an Italian tv company contacted the club to reveal that Nicholas was in fact a profesional look a like and it was done for a tv spoof show. It will take Real a long time to live that one down.
So if Bruce Willis or Sly Stallone turn up at Court Place Farm expecting free entry, a programme and a hot dog - check their I.D.
