Being without key players? saulsbury is a boring right back that gets a nose bleed every time he crosses the half way line. when gardner plays,he looks like a full blown alcholic. Then theres mcsporran whos only scored 4 goals this season.

: BE POSTIVE, We can compete with any team in
: the league we should have beaten Didcot and
: Farnborough. We just seem to have lost the
: knack of scoring but bear in mind yesterday
: we were without key players, Saulsbury,
: Woodrulfe, Gardner, Mcsporran. Justin and
: Mike are doing a great job for City, keep
: the faith !!

: Why was it not a surprise that City lost and
: why the assumption Bell had a bad game?
: Maybe you are a fan of another club locally
: so wish City would lose, which is fair
: enough I suppose and do you play in the same
: position as Bell and if he plays poorly you
: might get a game next week? So purely a
: selfish point? so confusing these random
: posts.

: The top four positions have rotated quite a
: lot this season and it would be no surprise
: if there were a few more changes to come,
: but on this showing Farnborough are the more
: likely team to replace Fleet. City have a
: better team than we've seen for years; they
: generally defend well and play some good
: football, but their results against the top
: three show they are still falling a little
: short of champion standard: we have yet to
: win a match against a really good team this
: season. It always looked as if February
: would be the make-or-break month as far as
: the title is concerned, but we are still in
: with a good shout of a play-off place if we
: don't lose confidence after our first
: back-to-back league defeats this season.
:
: We had our chances: in particular, two very
: good ones in the first five minutes. Oh, to
: have been 2-0 up at that stage! But Boro
: weathered those over-the-top balls and the
: foraging of our very lively new signing
: Michael Lyon, gradually imposed themselves
: and in the end were worthy winners, despite
: there being a bit of luck about both goals.
: (Maybe the second was a deliberate piece of
: brilliance, but to me it looked like a cross
: which drifted in!)They also hit the post
: with an effort by Saunders, who was by some
: way the best player on the pitch; we don't
: have a player who can consistently strike
: thirty-yard plus balls with such accuracy
: and vision.
:
: Still, the Boro boss said we were the best
: team they've played so far, and we made them
: work hard; we could play less well than this
: and still beat most of the teams in this
: division, as long as we soon start to find
: the net again. I hope 'Jock' and Jon are fit
: again soon, but in the meantime want to
: congratulate Justin on finding such an
: excellent, hard-working front man as Lyon,
: who held the all up really well and showed
: lots of good linking touches.
