Agree with this entirely.
City have a long and successful history in the Senior Cup and showed their respect for the competition, and their intentions, by fielding a full-strength side.
Players and supporters alike would expect a feisty and robust approach to the game from a side three Steps below in the Pyramid as being the only one likely to produce a win, but there is a fine line between 'physical' and 'dangerous' play, and several tackles crossed that line on Tuesday. Given the problems that have occurred in matches like this in the past perhaps the OFA might have considered allocating a more experienced referee?
