It wasn't long ago that the board had concerned messages posted about the lack of a striker and points being dropped. A few good results later and it's as if we have this division in the bag. I think we should, to change Kipling a bit, treat the two imposters the same--ie keep a perspective. Delighted as I have been with the recent good run, and hoping that it will continue, it's the table at the end of April that counts, not the end of November, and we're still not half way through this marathon. Last season, though Bashley stayed the course, there were lots of changes in table positions after January--Didcot fell away from second to mid-table, for instance. Justin and Mike must be pleased, but they won't be getting carried away just yet; we haven't beaten a really strong team in this division yet this season, so the real tests lie ahead, and in the meantime we have to make sure we don't trip up through complacency in matches like the one coming up at Bracknell.
