: Banter?...
: What a pleasure it was last night to be part
: of a wonderful & enjoyable fun
: atmosphere that simply is second to none.
: I really did enjoy playing Liam jnr. at Fifa
: 07 on the playstation before the Milton game
: - brilliant!
:
: Anyway, about last night`s game...
: I thought Milton battled from start to
: finish on a very cold evening and it was
: great to see Paul `Evo` Evans (my hero at
: Abingdon United when I was a kid) &
: Avram `Macca` Grant taking a break from his
: synagogue duties in North London to manage
: their team in such a constructive, vocal
: manner - now there`s a man who appreciates
: no-need for swearing in football!!!
: It was obvious he`d learnt everything from
: me on our Level 2 Coaching Course!
: Also, well done to Robbie McNeill in
: midfield for trying to `connect` with Mark
: O`Hara on so many occasions.Fleety & I
: were not happy with him and we made sure we
: had a `quiet word` at half-time to give him
: advice on how to kick him and would it help
: if a financial incentive (Creedy check my
: spelling for me) was made available?
: Well done to Milton...
:
: A special praise also to Jools Darky for
: leaving his front door open at home &
: trying to `poison his eyes` before the game,
: Fonty for resisting the temptation of a
: 7-day approach from Clanfield Supporters
: Club, Mark O for his tent shop clothes and
: climbing Kilamanjaro that morning, Phil
: McRodney for his Ruper the Bear scarf &
: great crocodile shoes, Tim`s wife Caterina
: for not giving birth yet as I can`t make the
: booze-up this weekend and Holdy for the
: funniest / shortest fitness test I`ve ever
: seen in the history of football & his
: strategic / patient 2nd half substitutions.
: Watch out Gaffer, he clearly has a future in
: football management!
: Oh, forgot to say...great football aswell!
:
: Well done lads & keep it going.
:
: Regards,
: Liam `Hamstrung` Carroll.

: I fully agree with Chris and Paul, a
: thoroughly enjoyable game. The Veterans were
: has slick as ever with precision passsing
: and great individual performances. Credit
: must also go to the Milton players who
: although going 3 down relatively early in
: the game, continued to play football and
: contributed greatly to this excellent game.
: What still amazes me is the few supporter
: who experience such great football played in
: a terrific atmosphere. Come on you
: supporters what more could you want, FREE
: Admission and excellent football. I am now
: awaiting the Banter on the website that
: usually follows a Vets game

: This game was a pleasure to watch.
: City were 3-1 in front at half time and
: despite having Milton penned back for long
: periods were always made to work by a very
: workman like Milton who continued to play
: good football against a flowing Oxford City.
: A fine hat trick in the first half by Phil
: Rodney paved the way. It is difficult to
: comment on all the players who contributed
: to this fine effort. So the squad list will
: have to suffice:
: Colin Fleet, Paul Creed, Mark o'Hara, Mark
: Orlando, Mark Jennings, Dave Watson, Tim
: Bowley, Chris Fonteine, Stewart Clark, Phil
: Rodney, Julio Baresi, Liam Carroll, Julian
: Dark, Martin Smy

: City Vets beat Milton Utd tonight 5-1 in a
