Posted by Claire on October 15, 2007, 3:42 pm Oxford City Ladies continued their good start to the season with a 21-0 win at Banbury United to go through to the next round of the Women's Regional Southern League cup.

Eight City players got on the score sheet to cap a excellent all round team performance with goals from Steph Mobbs (6), Rachel Catling (5), Hannah Smye (2) Katie Totton (2) Clare Ostle (2), Michelle Ewins (2), Lauren Carnell (1), and Deanne Tomkins (1).
Although the scoreline flatters City, Banbury kept battling throughout the 90 minutes, with their goalkeeper Ali Knight making a number of fine saves.
City are now through the next round of the league cup with the draw to be confirmed.
