Posted by Padz on October 14, 2007, 9:46 pm Steve Davis, an excellent young player who was drafted into the team last season did exceptionally well and is now i believe a contracted player, yet he has so far been overlooked and the management seem to favour Pete Weirich in the position, Davis is the better of the two in my opinion, he has more pace and gets himself up and down the wing more, this is not me knocking Pete Weirich, as he is a good player in his own right, i'm just giving my views and i (along with others) think that Steve Davis should be getting alot more game time, young players cannot gain experience if they're not given the chance to play. Again, if there is another reason why he isn't playing that i'm unaware of then i apologise, but he appears to be match fit and ready to play.
Ok, so obviously the management picks the team and we've got an excellent squad of players to choose from, but one selection is baffling, not just to me but to i would say 95% of supporters you could talk to at City.
