City went ahead in the first minute when Louise Craig forced the ball over the line after City had hit the bar with their first attack. Gloucester spurned several chances before Steph Mobbs showed strength and tenacity to hold off her marker and double City's lead in the 35th minute. The second half saw chances for both sides, and both teams hit the woodwork, but there was no further addition to the score.
Should also mention that we did the double at the weekend with our Ladies team progressing against Gloucester into the next round too to play Henley Town at home on 30 Sept:
