Posted by Duncan Colwell on April 30, 2007, 8:53 am The game was virtually over as a contest in the 1st 25 minutes as we played some great attacking football to go into a 3 goal lead. For us this was very pleasing as with 2 league games this week it meant we could slow our play down in the 2nd half to help maintain energy levels. All credit to Witney though who made more of a game of it in the 2nd period. This is a well deserved piece of silverware for the Youth Team as they have been very consistent all season. We have had a great run in the FA Youth Cup, good consisitency in our league performances & now The OFA U18 Cup win. 3 - 4 of the lads finished the season with places in the 1st team.
