Jim,
You wrote of me:
"By the way have you ever converted anyone to one of your positions? I am not being personal, my point is that this is a hardened situation. No one is moving much."
I doubt if Bishop Robert Duncan has ever heard of me. I have nver corresponded with him on the subject of women's ordination. It is just that Bishop Duncan must have suffered due to the slide of the Episcopal Church towards acceptance of legalised abortion and homosexuality. I would have figured by now that someone would have pointed out to him how denominations that ordain women commonly accept legalised abortion and homosexuality, and that religious groups that do not ordain women remain orthodox with respect to these two subjects. He should have wondered about this correlation, as I have wondered about it.
You also wrote:
"My son changed on gay ordinations and unions only because he was utterly repulsed by the violent hatred on stand firm and Dr. Virtue's pages. He decided if they agreed with him he must be wrong."
I do now understand what you wrote, because you used the words "he", "He", "they", "him", and "he" such that I do not know what specific people you are reffering to. I also suspect that you used some other words incorrectly.
Please elaborate.
Ray Kidder
