I think that I have some issues with the analogy, if for no other reason the position of rehab in the 'justice system' (now there is an oxymoron!) is not appropriate for the Spirit vis-a-vis our relationship with God.
Clearly the classic Western non-Roman denominations (Lutheran, Anglican, Presbyterian) could not have happened quite the same way without Rome. And to the extent the rest of the non-Roman West is derivative, I guess we can say all or at least most.
