I am well aware of Robin's dislike for Anglo-Catholicism, and I have butted heads with him on several occassions when he has taken gratituous swipes at us. The problems with TEC, in my opinion, are NOT rooted in Anglo-Catholicism, but in the lack of any set of core beliefs that would hold TEC together. I would be curious to hear from Robin why it was primarily A-C's who bolted after the Church began to ordain priesteses, or why it is that Anglo-Catholic parishes/dioceses are the recipients of special abuse/persecution by TEC. Robin's problem is that anything that smacks of Catholicism gives him a bad case of the red a$$. I have no problem with his penchant for low-churchmanship and the more protestant expressions of Anglicanism, but I think he would be better of by keeping his trap shut about Anglo-Catholicism - something about which he knows very little.
