Collecting taxes is work so is collecting taxes good? I don't think that it's as simple as you portray. Work is not all good and some good things are done with taxes. I don't think that any ideology can adequately represent reality here. Too much taxing chokes the economy and without taxing there is no infrastructure so people are not able to work efficiently. There's a line to walk here and balance is the answer. It would be interesting to look at the economies of the other developed countries and see how succesfull they are with what they are doing.
