Uriel,
Although I think it is un-Christian to have a woman pastor, this does not necessarily imply that it is un-Christian to vote for a woman as (say) Vice President, President, Governor, Senator, or Mayor. I sense a greyness of area where the closer the job is to that of a pastor, the more Christian it is to promote only men for such positions. I think Sarah Palin was not a good choice for McCain as his running mate, and her gender is a factor in this opinion of mine.
I also think it is un-Christian to allow men to compete in a beauty pageant. OTOH, there is a gray area of distinction such that it is ok for men to get dressed up in nice clothing, have a nice haircut, wear cologne, and act charming in order to sell or promote something. Yes, such men are trying to be judged according to their looks, but they have not crossed the line of un-Christian behavior.
I am voting for McCain mainly because he is pro-life. He is strongly opposed by the candidate who attended Reverend Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years. Obama is distinctly tolerant of legalized abortion, which is un-Christian.
