The banking crisis here and abroad are related in a number of ways but that is not what I was trying to say. I was trying to say that if one uses the word "connected" broadly enough then everything that happens on this planet is connected to everything else that happens on this planet.
When you asked the question about whether there was a connection between womens ordination and the banking crisis I was not sure what you were asking. I think that your question was ambiguous. Perhaps I should what you meant by "connected". In some ways I think that they are connected but I think that most of those ways are pretty obvious. In other ways I don't think that they are connected.
