Hello, friends!
My goodness has it ever been a long time. I've missed chatting with you all. How is everyone?
I'm doing well. College life is almost completely over. I finished all the requirements for graduation in December. This May I'm headed back down to march in Convocation. It's not definite yet, but I may be traveling with one of the college's promotion teams as a leader. I did it once before as a student, and it was a great experience.
Just in case you're wondering, I still love "The Andy Griffith Show." As a matter of fact, for my senior speech recital I performed "No Time for Sergeants" in solo interpretation style. If I can find a way to post the video, I might just do that.
The future is really up in the air for me right now. At the present, I'm back in Maine working night shift while I save up some money. I plan to continue acting in a year or so.
Okay...that's enough about me. How have you all been? I'd LOVE to hear from you folks. I can't tell you how much I've missed you guys.
Sheldon, thank you so very much for looking after things for me. You are awesome. It's been so nice knowing "Mayberry" is in such good hands.
Virgil, we need to talk about classic movies again. I've seen several of the ones on your list---The Time Machine, Jeremiah Johnson, The Courtship of Eddie's Father. Have you seen any "new" classics lately?
BARNEY2009, it has been forever and a day, or so it seems. How are you, pal? Hope all is well. Could you give me the link to the Mayberry Gossip Club. My computer crashed and I lost the addresses in my Favorites box. Thanks.
Al, it's good to see your name as a regular poster on the board. Thanks for helping to keep this place alive. I always enjoy reading your creative messages. How's the storywriting business?
