Rereading Lady Mimi's comments about "professional and courteous guidance" reminded me of how I sometimes fall short. I had a conversation with a friend of a relative who had all the temperamental qualities of a mage, but she was a fan of the Left Behind series. I said, "Yeah, did you hear the host of the Christian comedy show who said, "It's the series about the end times that never ends!" So, later, she mentioned that she had gone to a Tibetan monks meeting that had been announced as a folklore discussion, but because of the hurricane, she found it had been changed to chanting, and she could not abide the vibrations of it. I got the message that the devas were challenging me to learn to be more gentle.
