It sounds cool to draw on actual magical lore for models that could be worked into games. But, what if that process actually agitates a real malevolent being who aims to eat the rude? Some online games have been criticized by religious leaders for using actual deity names and so forth, too. I think that the reverse might be even more advantageous: that is, look at the presumably faux spells in Harry Potter, and observe how they can be modified into magical actions that have the power to affect things in the physical world.
