Hi;

I was watching Charlie Rose, the other night, and one of his guests was the guy who created Netscape and then sold it to AOL so that he could reinvest in other things. Most recently, he created a sort of new type of blogging site that brings together all the basic tools to create a social network; or, an intellectual, philosophical, educational, philanthropic, news, or any other kind of network imaginable for the net.

Now, I don't expect that my offering to be exciting enough for anyone to want to join, but, I set one up as a sample, because I am excited about the possibilities; especially because I am presently in a town away from any place like Esoterica (where one can drop by and have a few minutes of access to an experienced expert or even a kindred soul).

Personally, what I would like to see happen before global warming kills us all is for real magic to make a comeback: there should be a real Hogwarts, or something as close to it as the Universe and ingenuity will permit. So, I don't know what may come of it but, if you have a minute, please check it out:

Suggestions welcomed, of course. And, also, though global CO2 emissions have started to spiral out of control in the past few years because of new industrialization and loss of rain forest, there is a strategy whereby we could create a reflective layer on the atmosphere by sending up a load of fine dust in a space shuttle. But, cool people need to know the cool ideas, so we can save this world, and make it safer for magic-users.
