Posted by Dont wannatell I have read also that the usage of the word "Hectite" refers more to the ancient term "Hecitu" which means Powerful Magick in Summerian (see Simon's Necronomicon Gate Book) However I have run across an old quatrain that may be of intrest: When the Great Bear hangs by his tail in the sky.

As far as I know the only time such a solar eclipse occured was sometime early October 1956 and a lunar one late May in 1961
rather than the Witch Goddess Hecate. It may be her name was given her because of this, since Summerian magick predates Greek magick.
