My main suggestion is, if you suspect that there may be a paranormal explanation for part of what you're experiencing, you may want to carry a protection amulet/pouch and/or put up a barrier of protection around your home that you refresh every month or so. Ever since I've done that, my night terrors have decreased substantially, and whether it's psychosomatic or for some other reason, as long as it works and it doesn't hurt, why not try it?
