I agree with Gina concerning the greater power a self-made charm may have. That said, if you doubt your ability to make such a charm powerful enough, you will seed this doubt into the creation and weaken it. Sometimes the easy choice works fine. Mimi's charms, sold in her shop, work well; and, if you ask her, she may have some suggestions concerning their use and how to make them most effective.
I also agree, BTW that the Twisters are great.
