If you study the Western Mystery Tradition, you will find out that there is a basic underlying concept that exists, and the religions of the world express that concept through different methods. So part of what you say is true, and part is not. You are on the right idea when you say that they are similar, but they are not "all the same." For example, a blue car and a red car are similar in the fact that they are both cars and get you where you need to go, which is where the similarity ends. The blue car might be a certain make and color and the red car another make and color, drive differently, have more seats, more horsepower, etc.. Some cars will get you to your destination quickly, some slowly. Some will last, and some cars will break down before you get there, requiring you to get another car. The important part is they provide you a mode of transportation no matter which car you choose.
