Posted by Kitty on 12/16/2005, 5:56 am In so many desires for magick to fix problems otherwise best delt with practically, there does come a time when magick is really all you can do. Sticky situations like the breaking apart of two people who are not good for eachother. I don't mean that "you want him and no one else can have him" crap. I mean abusive partners, unhealthy situations, etc. My question: is it right to perform a spell or rite to break up someone if it is for the real good, not the imagined good, or does that fall into the realm of trangressing on free will? For a friend? For a family member? Minding my own business is all well and good, but there is a line drawn somewhere when I see someone I care about suffering needlessly. I just want to see if this line is perforated. Are such spells ethical?
