Hey Guys!
First message on here, so I guess I'm a newbie.
I have an 00 Range Rover and I'm having problems with the temperature gauge. I will be driving and all of a sudden, the guage will shoot over to the red, flicker back and forth in the red then eventually shoot back to normal. I had this problem at while back and I sent it to pep boys and they determined that they had to replace a few gaskets and hoses because the coolant system was losing pressure. They said it was repaired, but now it's doing it again, but to a lesser degree. I shelled out 900 bucks for the repair, but I just don't see how my engine can heat up that quickly and then shoot back down to normal so quickly. It's not as bad as it was as it does not linger in the red as long as before, and I can't see any leaking on it, or underneath the car of any fluid. Any advice on what is going on?
Thanks,
Phil
