Buying a discovery

Ok y'all. I'm looking to buy a Discovery in the 1996-1999 year range...$3000-$5000. Any suggestions on where to look and what to be sure and look for? I have 2 small-medium sized kids that are into all kinds of sports, 4-H stock shows, camping, and geocaching. I've pretty much decided this would be the perfect vechicle for us. Any help or info you could give would be great! Thanks again! Liz
